Administration - Browns Chapel

The mission of the church is to make Christ central in the congregation, the community and throughout creation. Brown’s Chapel serves as a place of refuge in the community to those who come.

The church is charged to nurture and train the children in the way that they should go while they are young – to bring them up in the fear and admonition of God. Thus, Bishop Brown, Sr. started the Junior Church early on in the ministry, which was embedded in the morning worship as a training station for the youth.

It is also the purpose of the church to develop the membership in the realization that each person has a spiritual gift and these gifts are to be used collectively for the up building of God’s kingdom
